So much easier for kids to see everything and it’s a simple enough system that they might even put the legos away on their own!OK, let me just start out by saying that if I was in charge of this chalkboard project, then I absolutely would have gone ahead and done a shoddy job of it.
I tucked some ribbon into the sides and tied some bows. You can even see a string of hot glue still hanging off it it there.
Since I reused fabric leftover from my DIY reupholstered ottomans, and ribbon from my.skirted desk stool., this project was free!.
I may use fabric that’s a little more Eastery-looking next time I do this, but for this one I just used what I had on hand.It was one of those moments where I had an idea and it seemed too good to be true!
I just had to try it out right away and see if it would really work..
Want a little more (practically free) Easter inspiration?.They just sit in between each tile with a little lip that fits under both sides of the gap.
Then you add in the yellow wedge and it brings them completely level to each other. You can also use a really long level to make sure that you’re tiling job is level overall in the whole room and add more mortar under the next tile you do as necessary.
When everything is completely dry,.you just snap the whole clip right out.
